Small Animal Boarding at The Small Animal Cottage

Housed in a separate private building, your small animals will enjoy all the same privileges as they would at a small animal hotel, such as fully insulated, temperature-controlled spaces with natural light. Our rabbit boarding services ensure that your furry friends' needs are met, and with a very limited number of spaces in our small animal cottage, be sure to book early to avoid disappointment!

We have a dedicated indoor rabbit boarding area designed with comfort, space, and safety in mind. This calm, large secure environment can comfortably accommodate between one and four bonded rabbits, ideal for house buns, or garden buns for a luxury stay, in our small animal cottage.

All enclosures in the cottage are refreshed daily to maintain excellent hygiene, rabbits are provided with soft clean fleece blankets in all bedding areas, play tunnels and hideaways, giving plenty of room for rabbits to stretch, hop, and explore, or relax or enjoy some quiet time, making it feel just like a small animal hotel.

At our small animal hotel, we provide toys and chew items to encourage natural behaviors such as gnawing, digging, and foraging. This helps keep your pets mentally and physically active during their stay at the cottage.

The cottage building which forms the small animal hotel, is temperature-controlled, fully insulated and protected from draughts, ensuring a calm, comfortable environment for your pets in every season.

For any other small animals,  we ask that you bring their own enclosure as it helps maintain routine and reduce stress for small prey animals. We’ll provide treats and fresh vegetables appropriate to their species. If transporting your guinea pig or chinchillas enclosure  isn’t practical, an enclosure is available to rent at our small animal cottage, get in touch to discuss and for a quote.
